I was recently given a Chinese Elm bonsai.  Firstly, I have not seen the name amongst any of the common varieties, so am confused as to special treatment for it.  Secondly, I don't know when to fertilize and feed it, with what or what to be careful of.  If anyone has any suggestions, I would be most grateful.  NB - I live in France so a lot of the brand names quoted in the FAQs mean nothing to me - ingredients or properties of the fertilisers would be more understandable !
